2018年9月18日,万豪国际集团上海站43家酒店在上海佘山茂御臻品之选酒店参加了”Run to Give”慈善跑活动,携手“微笑行动”,呼吁关注与帮助贫困唇腭裂患儿。
On 16 September, 2018, 43 Shanghai Cluster hotels from Marriott East China, together with Operation Smile, took part in Run to Give 2018 charity run in The Yuluxe SheShan, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Shanghai to raise funds and create more awareness to Children with cleft lip or cleft palate in China.
万豪国际华东区的酒店参加了2018年9月16日举办的“Run to Give”慈善跑活动。上海站在上海佘山茂御臻品之选酒店拉开帷幕,43家酒店成为此次“Run to Give”活动的一份子,携手“微笑行动”,呼吁关注与帮助贫困唇腭裂患儿。

万豪国际集团认同“微笑行动”所作出的重要社会贡献,一直大力支持其各种公益活动。此次华东区”Run to Give”慈善跑为微笑行动”共筹得善款人民币388,888元,以支持帮助贫困唇腭裂患儿。
Marriott International recognizes Operation Smile with the contribution to the society and fully supports all kinds of public service activities. This time, funds raised total at RMB 388,888 from East China will go towards Operation Smile which is dedicated to the Children with cleft lip or cleft palate in China.

微笑行动(Operation Smile)是个以医疗和非医疗志愿者为主体、致力于为全球偏远地区患有唇腭裂及其他面部畸形的贫困患⼉提供安全、及时、高质量的免费手术和相关治疗的非营利性公益机构。微笑行动成立于 1982 年,30 多年来在全球已经为超过 27 万名患者提供了免费手术,并为更多患者提供了全面的医疗评估。1991 年进入中国开展义诊活动以来,已有近 27年的公益项目执行经验,累计救助超过30,000名唇腭裂患者。
Operation Smile (“OS”) is an international medical charity which performs safe, effective cleft lip and cleft palate surgery, and delivers postoperative and ongoing medical therapies to children in low and middle income countries. Operation Smile was founded in 1982 and has provided free surgeries for more than 270,000 children and young adults. Since conducting its first medical mission to China in 1991, Operation Smile has had 27-year experience in serving the under privilege children and families and provided surgeries for more than 30,000 patients with cleft lip and palate.
